Of Counsel

“Service, service, service! I take pride in the long-term relationships I have with my clients.
I’m fortunate to be their valued business partner, and a part of their success.”

OVERVIEW

Steve Thoresen is a consultant and retired partner of Thoresen Diaby Helle Condon & Dodge, Inc. CPAs & Advisors. He has over 40 years of experience in accounting, taxation, business planning, consulting, and attestation engagements. He also advises on the complex interrelationships between corporations and individuals. In addition, he provides expert counsel in the areas of business succession planning, forecasts and projections, and banking and financing matters.

Steve is known for the exceptional service he provides, developing long-term relationships focused on growth, problem solving, and making sure they retain more of their hard earned dollars. He enjoys helping people and their business as they evolve, some from start-up through their exit.

Having tried engineering and found it didn’t suit him, Steve pursued accounting and never looked back. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA), and the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP). Steve has shared his expertise in speaking engagements with AWC, and the SFSP. He has also appeared as a guest speaker on the radio show “Money Talks.”
