Managing Shareholder & President

“I enjoy working with individuals and small business clients, helping them grow, achieve their goals, listening and understanding their goals & concerns, finding & implementing solutions, watching them succeed, and make their lives less stressful.”

OVERVIEW

Rachel is the managing shareholder and president of Thoresen Diaby Helle Condon & Dodge, Inc. CPAs & Advisors. She provides accounting, forensic, tax compliance & planning, and business consulting services to a wide variety of clients, helping them achieve their objectives by approaching their goals with a proactive strategy. Specializing in accounting and auditing, tax planning, consulting, and forensic accounting and analysis, she also contributes as an expert witness on fraud cases.

Rachel is motivated to help people so they can focus on their business and their passions in life. She wants them to stay focused on what they love and the reason they started the business. She also loves working with numbers, finding solutions, and making accounting fun.

“I look forward to being a contributing member of your team. You can call on me at any time, and count on my being focused on your success.”

Raised in an entrepreneurial environment, Rachel worked alongside her accountant father and brother in the family’s thirteen women and children’s clothing stores in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Accounting came naturally to her. She received her BA in Accounting from Northern Michigan University in 1999, is a Certified Public Accountant, and a Certified Fraud Examiner. She continues her specialized education, attending many various classes and seminars. In 2015 Rachel received the highly regarded (Real) Power 50 Award from Minnesota Business Magazine for being a remarkable player in the Minnesota business community with a knack for getting things done — and being helpful along the way.

Active in her community, Rachel is a frequent public speaker on topics including “Tax Strategies & Fraud: When Good Intentions Go Bad”, and “Best Practices in Various Accounting, Business, and Tax Matters.” Her charitable work includes contributing to Feed My Starving Children, Make A Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society, and other organizations.
